About Betsy

 It is with great pleasure and enthusiasm that I have this opportunity to give a testimonial for Betsy Calvin’s raw food website. Let me start by introducing myself- my name is Lee Ann Harris and I am a lifelong friend of Betsy’s. Over the last few years Betsy has encouraged me to  a much different, but very healthy way of eating. She is very enthusiastic about this way of life not only for our health, but also for the animals. She is passionate about the vegan lifestyle, and conveys it in a way that makes sense. 

She has also taken her recipes and made them not only deliciously healthy, but fun to prepare. She takes time to explain the impact of specific ingredients on your body and health. I am honored to have had the opportunity to work with her, learn from her and live a healthier lifestyle because of her. I highly recommend her classes-you will be surprised at what “healthy” can taste like!!!!!

Betsy’s Bio

Betsy is a certified Yoga teacher that has been teaching for over 5 years. She believes there is a connection between what you put into your body and what you do with it. Bringing together the ancient practice of Yoga and clean, high raw plant-based nutrition to nourish your body, mind and soul makes more sense now than ever.

Betsy has a certificate in Plant Based Nutrition from Cornell University, has completed Eva Rawposa’s Uncooking 101 class, and is authorized to teach her wonderful raw food classes. She also offers other classes, such as vegan cooking classes, Juicing 101 and Smoothies 101. Personal coaching is her favorite, she loves seeing the wonderful changes that the plant-based and raw food lifestyle can bring to a person. Personal Yoga classes are also offered.

Betsy is very passionate about this lifestyle for many reasons. The plant-based lifestyle is known to be very healthy, and since hers is devoid of any animal products, it’s better for the environment-and obviously the animals. She hopes to see you at a Cooking, Uncooking or Yoga class soon!!!!!
